Here are some of the artists whose work will be for sale at the Artisan Market during the South Huron Exhibition & Sale. The Artisan Market is November 4-6 from 11:00 – 5:00 at Ironwood Golf Course.

A Selection of Artists….

Carleen Hone – Carleen been Teaching Art at South Huron District High School for 15 years. She enjoys many sports and loves to travel.  She finds that the colours and textures of our world really inspire her whether it’s a crumbling ancient wall in Italy or a terribly bleached coral in tropical waters. Though she loves to sculpt and paint, this show features some of her photography which has been manipulated and printed out on “interesting” papers. Enjoy the Show!

 

 

 

 

 

Susan Skaith – Susan, originally from Massachusetts, has lived and worked in London, Ontario for over 45 years.   She has always had a great interest in minerals – how they are formed, where they are mined, etc. She has traveled extensively in the southwestern United States exploring the many mineral shops that supply materials from that region.  Note:  All materials are natural minerals and sterling silver (925 and higher).
This has influenced her desire to use minerals as the basis of her work. Jewelry is the medium that enables her to share with you her love of these incredible gifts from the earth.
Susan’s jewelry has been carried by Circle Arts, Tobermory, Ont. for the past seven years.
She has participated in the London Artists’ Studio Tour for the past 4 years.
