Art aRound Townis pleased to announce two exciting events coming up early this year for Artists and those who would like to Teach or Learn about the Creative Arts! Deadlines to Register are fast-approaching!
1. We are looking for Artists to once again join our group in a complimentary exhibition space at the Women’s Lifestyle Show in London this March! Artists are asked to conduct demonstrations during the show and you are welcome to display and sell your work as well.Deadline to Register is January 29, 2015!

2.Art aRound Townis organizing a Creative Arts Festival for the end of May. It will be a day full of classes in many forms of Arts from dance, to jewelry-making, to painting and so on.* There will also be an Empty Bowls Lunch where you get to take your handmade ceramic bowl home with you! All proceeds from this lunch will go to the local Food Bank.**
*Attention Artists/Art Teachers: If you are interested in teaching some of the Arts Classes during the Festival please be aware thatThe Deadline for Teachers to apply to teach a class is February 13, 2015.
**Attention Potters: If you are interested in helping to make clay bowls for the Empty Bowls Lunch, please contact Ruth Anne at ruthmern@gmail.com

Broadway comes to Exeter!
Tonight and Tomorrow only, South Huron District High School is presenting “Broadway Cabaret”. The show is a review of popular show tunes featuring very talented students, staff and community members. A great night out for everyone! Tickets are $10 at the door.
Christmas Art Class for Kids with Catherine Weber!
On Monday, December 22, Catherine Weber will be holding an Art Class for Kids in Grades 1-8. Students will be making a Christmas centrepiece then using as the model for a still life image in paint, pastel or pencil. Classes will run from 9:00 until 2:30 at Caven Presbyterian Church in Exeter.
Early Bird Registration is until December 15
– Grades 1-4 = $35
– Grades 5-8 = $50
Please bring a lunch and two snacks as well as a sketchbook. See attached flyer for more details.
SHDHS Grade 12 Graduation Exhibition at Exeter Public Library!
The grade 12 Visual Arts students at SHDHS will be exhibiting their final body of work at the Exeter Public Library starting on Tuesday, January 20. The students work in a wide variety of media and several of the pieces may be for sale.
The exhibition will run until about the end of February.
