This Express Yourself workshop, taught by local artist Michelle Miller, will provide students with a good foundation and understanding of the expressive qualities of watercolour painting. Some of the topics covered will include a focus on light and value; how to maintain vibrancy of colour in a painting as well as the basics of colour mixing; composition and use of hard and soft edges. How to see and look at subject matter from the eyes of an artist will be a focus of this workshop.

This workshop will take place Saturday, September 29, in Port Albert, at the artist’s own studio (23 London Road, Port Albert), from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
