The Art Around the Town Summer Art Show & Sale is now open during the Bach Music Festival June 14 -20.
The 2013 Art Around the Town Summer Art Show & Sale is on Now! This show has Art displays in various venues around the quaint town of Exeter, Ontario (home of the White Squirrel!) during the week of July 14-20.
The Show & Sale will complement the Bach Festival and will also feature a one day Art in the Parkette outdoor exhibition where exhibitors will be able to display in the open air Parkette in downtown Exeter from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 20.
Art Around the Town Summer Show & Sale Venues are: (map below)
- The South Huron Welcome Centre Art Gallery (Artisans Market) at 483 Main Street at Huron Street South – Featuring works for the entire month of July by members of Art aRound Town. Open Monday to Friday during the Bach Festival 10:00am – 5:00pm and on Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm
- The Exeter Public Library 330 Main Street at Sanders Street – Featuring works by Laura Louise Photography, Lynn Haygarth, Rosa Snopko, George Wilson, Amanda King, Sarah Fletcher and Autumn Ducharme as well as original Art Cards by SHDHS Art Students in Grades 9 – 12. Click Here for Library Hours.
- The Ranch House Inn at 414 Main Street – Featuring works in the entrance Lobby by Laura Browne, Stephen T. Holmes, George Wilson, Rosa Snopko as well as selected works by SHDHS Art Students: Jacob Henry, Stacey Wurm, Jessica Voth, Mazie Lovie, Faith Robinson and Andrew Hodgert as well original Prints and Art Cards by SHDHS Art Students in grades 9 – 12. Open daily during the Bach Festival.
- Trivitt Memorial Anglican Church – 264 Main Street – Featuring Medieval-style Illuminated Letters by Grade 11 Art Students
The Art in the Parkette on Saturday, July 20 will feature works by Linda Leslie, George Wilson, Laura Louise Photography, Amber Hohner as well as selected works by SHDHS Art Students. There will also be a display/demonstration of the Art of Henna by Kinjal Patel and musical performances by the SHDHS Jazz Band
There will also be Displays of Art which are not for sale in:
- the store window next to the Ranch House Inn
- Huron Tractor: works by Lynn Haygarth
